Step 6: Mobile application setup
Google Store
Setting up your Google Play account
If you don't have a company Android Developer Account, and you want to know how to set one up, you'll find all the information you need in this link.
Providing Toqio account access
Once the account is set up, you'll need to grant access to Toqio with admin permissions so we can execute the different steps needed to publish applications on your behalf. As part of the onboarding process, we will provide you with the contact details to invite our team members to your accounts.
To upload your apps onto Google Play, we need you to grant our support team admin permissions (not developer permissions).
Google Play store policies
Android applications have to go through a review process. These reviews don't have a fixed duration, but they usually range from 24 to 48 hours from the first publication.
The Google Play store publishing process is less onerous than Apple's, but it can still reject your app for a wide range of reasons.
The review of the app store content is quite specific and can regularly result in publishing being blocked:
- Privacy Policy and Terms must be thorough and published on the customer website.
- Descriptions must be detailed and relevant to the purpose of the app.
Updated versions of the applications are also checked and normally take around 24 hours to be published in the Google Play store.
Play Store content
When publishing to the Google Play store, content must be full and final.

Apple Store Policies
Apple Store applications have to go through a thorough review process. These reviews don't have a fixed duration, but they usually take from 24 to 48 hours from the first publication.

- Privacy Policy and Terms must be thorough and published on the customer website.
- Descriptions must be detailed and relevant to the purpose of the app.

App Store content
When publishing to the App Store, content must be full and final. Temporary or holding content will be rejected. The checks will also often catch content that's been copied from other applications on the store.
