New Card Fee Deduction from Another Account

When issuing a physical or virtual card within the Toqio ecosystem, users may encounter situations where the card-associated account lacks sufficient funds to cover the associated issuance fee. This feature provides flexibility by allowing the fee to be deducted from another account held in the same currency.


Trigger: The card-associated account has insufficient funds to cover the card issuance fee.

User Flow

  1. User initiates card issuance.
  2. System detects insufficient funds in the card-linked account.
  3. User is presented with the option to select another account held in the same currency to cover the fee.
  4. User selects the alternate account and confirms.
  5. The fee is successfully deducted from the selected alternate account.
  6. Card issuance proceeds successfully.

Trigger: Sufficient funds exist in the alternate account, but the initial fee deduction transaction fails.

User Flow

  1. User initiates card issuance.
  2. System detects insufficient funds in the card-linked account.
  3. User selects an alternate account that has sufficient funds.
  4. The card issuance process is completed.
  5. The charge transaction fails due to an issue.
  • The system automatically retries the fee deduction from the chosen alternate account on the following day.
  • Retries continue daily until the charge is successful.
